We have three (3) rooms available for private events:

  • The Wine Loft: minimum 18, maximum 28 guests, on the second floor. 
  • The Boarding Room: minimum 20, maximum 40 guests, on the second floor
  • The Gathering Room: minimum of 40 guests, maximum of 80 guests. Please note for wedding receptions and showers, or any event that needs extra space for dancing, presentations, or extra tables, the maximum capacity may be less than 80 people depending on your set-up requirements.

The Wine Loft and Boarding Room are on the second floor so all attendees must be able to go up/down a flight of stairs. The Gathering Room is on the main floor and has a private bar (bartender fee of $75). 

We do not charge room rental fees. For each private room we do have a minimum food expenditure requirement. Please call us for that information or submit the Banquet Inquiry form (scroll down to submit the form).

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PRICING: Our pricing is all inclusive: tax and service charge are included in the prices we quote on our menus. If you are comparing costs with other venues, please be aware that most venues have fine print that says tax and gratuity is not included and as much as 18-28% will be added to your bill. We don’t do that. We know you need to know your final price for budgeting purposes. No surprise added fees here!

For most private parties, there are three (3) different menus to choose from:

Dinner Buffet: a buffet dinner; two options and two prices. Includes cheese & cracker display and fresh vegetables with dip upon arrival, a served house salad, warm rolls and honey butter, 2 or 3 buffet entrees, roasted potatoes or rice, Chef’s seasonal vegetable, dessert, coffee/tea, soda. It does not include alcohol.

Served, Plated Dinner: You select 2 appetizers and/or 3 entrees for your guests to choose from in advance. These must be pre-selected by your guests with a count of each entree provided to us 10 days in advance.  Includes a served house salad, warm rolls and honey butter, entree, potatoes or rice (depending on the entree selection), Chef’s seasonal vegetable, dessert, coffee/tea, soda. It does not include alcohol.

Hors d’oeuvres/Reception/Party:  This menu is available a la carte with a combination of passed hors d’oeuvres and stationary food.  It can be a full dinner or lighter fare, depending on what items and how many you select. Give us a call at 860-747-6813 and we will be happy to make recommendations for the quantity and number of items for your specific party. It does not include alcohol.

We also have menus available for Luncheons and Bridal/Baby Showers, see below. Please note: The Luncheon and Shower Packages are only available with a start time between 11:30am-1:30pm (not the duration of the event, this is when the event must start, no later than 1:30pm). And the Shower Package is only available on Saturdays and Sundays.

All private events are typically 3 hours in length. If you need extra time please let us know and we can advise if there is an extra charge or not.

For alcohol, we charge based on consumption. You have several options for drinks:

1. The drinks tab is paid by the host. If you would like to limit the bar choices we can do that too, i.e., wine and beer only.
2. The drinks are paid for by the attendees/guests.
3. Or a combination of the above: drinks paid by the host for a certain amount of time (or up to a certain budget) and then a cash bar paid by the attendees.
4. Drink tickets; you give your guest tickets (we can provide those) for 1 or 2 drinks that you will pay for, the guests then pay for more drinks after they use the tickets.

Lunch Buffet Package

The Luncheon Buffet is available with a start time (not the duration) between 11:30am and 1:30pm.

Hors d’oeuvres Party Menu

Each item on this menu is priced for 25 servings or pieces (except Chicken Wings at 60 wings). You order a la carte from this menu, which ever items you like. Please take in account the number of servings depending on your guest count. Hors D’oeuvres parties are a maximum of 3 hours; there is a charge for extra time.

You choose up to 2 appetizers and 3 entrees, send those choices to your guests and then provide a count of each to us 10 days in advance.

Shower Package Menu

The Shower Buffet is available Saturdays and Sundays only, and the event must start (not the duration) between 11:30am and 1:30pm.
