We have two (2) rooms available for private events during the pandemic.  The maximum number of people we can accommodate is 25, due to state restrictions. We are not able to host private events with more than 25 people. 

We are booking private parties for up to 25 people for Saturday and Sunday during the day only, or Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday day or evening. We are closed on Mondays. We are not booking private parties for Friday,  Saturday, or Sunday evenings. 

We have been hosting private events at the tavern for almost 40 years. One of our greatest pleasures is seeing a couple who held their wedding reception or rehearsal dinner in one of our private rooms coming back years later to enjoy their anniversary dinner. This happens frequently! We also love seeing families with their toddlers eating dinner in the dining room who originally were here for the baby shower. We host many different types of private parties and it is so gratifying to see those folks visit us again. And again. And again.

We have four unique private rooms that can accommodate 12-90 people. You can see pictures and each of the room descriptions here. From a small business luncheon, to a medium-sized birthday party, and to a large holiday party or a corporate sales meeting, we regularly host them all.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PRICING: we give you the bottom line right up front! Our pricing is all inclusive: tax and service are included in the prices we quote on our menus. If you are comparing costs with other venues, please be aware that most venues have fine print that says tax and gratuity is not included and as much as 18-28% will be added to your bill. We don’t do that. We know you need to know your final price for budgeting purposes. No surprise add-ons here! 

When you book a private event with us you and your guests’ enjoyment is our top priority! We know that organizing events may be stressful. Choosing the menu, guests who do not RSVP, decorations; a million details. We can help. Our 35+ years of experience will make planning your event easy, fun, and non-stressful! We have a variety of menu options available: dinner or luncheon buffet-style, sit-down dinner or luncheon with pre-chosen, served entrees, cocktails and hors d’ouevres with both passed hors d’ouevres and buffet-style heavy appetizers. Click here to review all of the menus.
